Musician, adventurer, and lifelong storyteller living life full-tilt. I picked up the bagpipes as a teenager and never looked back — teaching, performing, and competing across Canada, the U.S., Scotland, and Brazil, including four trips to the World Pipe Band Championships. Along the way, I’ve piped for high-profile guests, performed with a Juno Award winner, played at Roy Thomson Hall and Hamilton Place, and joined the Celtic-folk band McPherson’s Rant on Irish whistles and electronic pipes.
My career has taken me from Correctional Officer to Realtor, with plenty of renovation stories and rental-property adventures in between. I also fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a pilot, collecting breathtaking moments in the sky… and a few truly dramatic ones. Adventure is my fuel — skiing, cycling, hiking, water sports, rafting, ziplining, paragliding, parasailing, windsurfing (with mixed results), and skydiving. I’m passionate about travel, live music, and community service, proud to be a Rotarian, and mom to a cinematographer. Growing up with a veterinarian father meant a childhood full of unusual pets — raccoons, skunks, and even a baby deer.
Curious? Ask about the keynote-speaker mishap, the one-day pipe band miracle, competing at Worlds, behind-the-scenes film memories, the universal language of music, or the most nail-biting flying moment of my life. Donate generously — the stories are worth it, and the cause is even more important.
I look forward to having a conversation with you. I hope you find my experience entertaining and engaging. You will be notified by email with the contact details of the time donor. You can then coordinate a mutually agreed upon location and time/date to meet. Thank you for your generosity!
